The Booker T. Washington Mighty Bookers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Norview on the road and fell 58-15. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Booker T. Washington has scored all season.
It was another big night for Kiyah Fitchett, who scored 16 points along with five steals for Norview. The contest was Fitchett's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamyah Parker, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.
Booker T. Washington has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Norview, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Booker T. Washington will take on Granby at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Granby is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Norview, they will play host again and welcome Churchland, where tip off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Churchland will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings (they are ranked 381st, while Norview is ranked 62nd).
