Easley had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Travelers Rest Devildogs 6-4. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Green Wave also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

Easley's victory was truly a team effort as two different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Aaron Tolbert, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Easley's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Travelers Rest, their loss was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Easley will face off against Belton-Honea Path at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Easley is facing Belton-Honea Path at the right time seeing as Belton-Honea Path is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Travelers Rest, they will square off against Seneca at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
