Volleyball Recap: Anderson-Shiro's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

Anderson-Shiro had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against the Latexo Tigers on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 win. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Fighting Owls this season.

Anderson-Shiro walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-18, 25-18.

Anderson-Shiro's win bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Latexo, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 7-4.

After both having extra time off, Anderson-Shiro and Smithville will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Latexo, they will be taking part in a tournament against C.H. Yoe at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
