On Wednesday, Inlet Grove earned a 49-41 victory over Tradition Prep. The win made it back-to-back wins for Inlet Grove.
Leading Inlet Grove to victory were Isaiah Taylor and Jordan Cajilus . Taylor scored ten points along with four steals, while Cajilus scored 13 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Those ten points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Benson Murat, who scored 11 points.
Several Pirates players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aydan Fields, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Drew Armstrong, who scored 11 points.
Inlet Grove's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Tradition Prep, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-5.
Inlet Grove will head out on the road to face off against St. John Paul II Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Tradition Prep won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Port St. Lucie at 7:00 p.m. on December 21st. Port St. Lucie will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
