The Syracuse Academy of Science Atoms will head out on the road to challenge the Jordan-Elbridge Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
Back in January, Syracuse Academy of Science took a serious blow against the Cobras, falling 89-47. Syracuse Academy of Science was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 52-25.
Meanwhile, Jordan-Elbridge stacked a sixth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 69-42 win over Cazenovia at home. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Jordan-Elbridge had established a 22 point advantage.
Abbie Ahern continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 25 points and 23 rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last ten games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Hildebrant, who scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Syracuse Academy of Science's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Jordan-Elbridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.
