Leading Pahrump Valley to victory were Kailani Martinez and Paris Coleman. Martinez scored 13 points along with 7 steals, while Coleman scored 13 points along with 7 steals. Another player making a difference was Avery Moore, who scored 2 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 steals.
Despite the loss, White Pine saw an underclassman step up: Brenley Skadburg scored 7 points.
Pahrump Valley's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for White Pine, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

As for White Pine, they will square off against Moapa Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Moapa Valley will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
