Adding to the longest winning streak in Tri-Valley - West this week, Ithaca beat Clinton 41-22. The victory was the 14th in a row for the Yellowjackets.
Ithaca took down the Redskins 41-22 last week, the largest margin of any game. Travis Smith threw for 247 yards and 4 touchdowns and ran for 137 yards during the win.
Terry Hessbrook's team's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Smith contributed 137 yards. Eli Villalobos helped Ithaca's passing attack out by catching 6 balls for 82 yards.
He went 17-27 with 1 interception.
Smith was the most successful running back in the league this week. Bryan Shaw also contributed to the rushing game with 53 yards on the ground.
Ithaca's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Yellowjackets feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Smith has thrown for 3,278 yards and 42 touchdowns this season, while Logan Hessbrook has 62 catches for 1,262 yards.
The Yellowjackets made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 385 from 670. The improvement was the result of a 41-22 victory over Clinton last week.
