Fitzgerald's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-11. As for Worth County, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record this season.
Fitzgerald will be playing in front of their home fans against Jeff Davis at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Jeff Davis is coming into the matchup with eight straight defeats on the road, meaning Fitzgerald will have to defend against a team hungry for a win. As for Worth County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sumter County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Worth County has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
