After low-scoring totals in their previous three  contest, Chesapeake brought some dynamite into their most recent  game. They put the hurt on the South Gallia Rebels with a sharp  19-11 victory on Wednesday. With that  win, the Panthers brought their scoring average up to 6.1  runs per game.
  Felicity Bellomy was a standout: she went 1-for-4 with two  stolen bases, four  RBI,  and two  runs. That's the most  runs  she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of  Zoe Jones, who  got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with three  runs and one  stolen base.
Chesapeake's victory  ended  a  four-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 7-16. As for South Gallia,  they are  on  a  nine-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-13.
 Coming up, Chesapeake will be playing in front of their home fans against South Point  at 5:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for South Gallia, they will face off against East at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday.
