Evangel Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Symone McNeil, who went 9 for 15 en route to 20 points along with seven boards and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points McNeil has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Erica Burton, who posted seven points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.
Hooper Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Evangel Christian Academy, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-6.
