Several Tigers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Carter Welkie, who scored seven points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dillon Stewart, who scored six points along with six rebounds.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Boone Grove to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jack Stevens, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Andrew Batesole was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Tri-Township's loss was their 11th straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-10. As for Boone Grove, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tri-Township will take on South Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. South Central is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. As for Boone Grove, they will play host again and welcome Hebron, where tip off is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Hebron is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games.
