Despite the loss, Great Mills had strong showings from A'Naija Bush, who scored five points along with 11 rebounds and four blocks, and Abril Esparza, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
McDonough now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Great Mills, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-3.
