Softball Recap: Henrietta Has No Trouble Against Archer City

While Henrietta put up plenty of runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Archer City. The Henrietta Bearcats were the clear victor by a 16-0 margin over the Archer City Wildcats. The Bearcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Henrietta has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. Archer City now has a losing record of 2-3.

Henrietta didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 18-2 victory against City View on the 10th. As for Archer City, they will square off against Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Archer City has given up an average of 11.8 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
