Northwestern Area will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Ipswich/Edmunds Central in at 7:00 PM. Ipswich/Edmunds Central will be strutting in after a win while Northwestern Area will be stumbling in from a loss.
Northwestern Area had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 14-46 walloping at Warner hands.
Meanwhile, Ipswich/Edmunds Central took care of business in their home opener. They blew past Tiospa Zina 36-14. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-0.
Northwestern Area's defeat took them down to 0-1 while Ipswich/Edmunds Central's victory pulled them up to write [team] current record. Their offensive line will need to gear up for a tough test against a Ipswich/Edmunds Central defensive front that amassed 5 sacks against Tiospa Zina last Friday.
