Baseball Recap: H-L-V Victorious

After losing to Keota the last time they met, H-L-V decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Warriors narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Eagles 9-8. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

H-L-V's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Keota, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-2.

H-L-V wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 18-17 loss against North Mahaska on the 30th. As for Keota, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-1 victory against Montezuma on the 30th.
