While Lutheran West might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Brooklyn scored at least points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-16, 25-10.
Lutheran West can attribute much of their success to Nicole Bryda, who had five aces and four digs.
She wasn't the only good server: Lutheran West was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 24 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 12 aces in five consecutive contests.
Kirtland's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-5. As for Lutheran West, the win got them back to even at 7-7.
