After a string of three wins, River Ridge's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took an 82-76 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cypress Creek Coyotes. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (66), the Royal Knights still had to take the loss.

River Ridge's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kolten Casarez, who posted 15 points and eight steals. Casarez also posted a block, marking his first of the season. Dareal King was another key player, putting up 12 points along with six boards and four steals.

River Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Cypress Creek, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. River Ridge will face off against Dunedin at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cypress Creek, they will square off against Mitchell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Coyotes will be up against the Mustangs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 57.8 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
