Western had won three straight home games and Angela Jasso did her part to make it four on Thursday. Everything went the Pioneers' way against the Loara Saxons as they made off with a 3-0 victory thanks in part to Jasso, who had 21 digs and four assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last eight games she's played.

Western never let Loara on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 26-24, 25-21.

Western's win bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Loara, their loss dropped their record down to 8-15-1.

Looking ahead, Western will take on Orange at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Loara, they will host Saddleback at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
