After a string of four wins, the Parkland Trojans's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 68-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of Eastside. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Eastside's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jalen Long, who scored 18 points along with six steals. The game was Long's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Will Love, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Parkland's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Eastside, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
