The Seekonk Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Case Cardinals at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
Last Friday, things could have been worse for Seekonk, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 67-49 loss to the Hawks.
Despite the loss, Seekonk got a solid performance out of Johnny Payne, who scored 16 points along with two steals. Payne is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. Noah Beausoleil was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Meanwhile, Case's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight defeat. Their tough 73-47 loss to Bourne might stick with them for a while. While losing is never fun, Case can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 112th, while the Canalmen are ranked fourth).
Seekonk dropped their record down to 5-10 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Case, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.
Seekonk might still be hurting after the 60-39 defeat they got from the Cardinals in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. Will Seekonk have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
