Even if they lost, Hoover's defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Leading the way was Cooper Woodhall with two. Xavier Logan was another major factor on D, making 11 total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defending three passes.
It was another big night for Philip Huynh, who threw for 178 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 38 yards for Crawford. Huynh is becoming a predictor of Crawford's success: when he posts at least three passing touchdowns the team is 5-2 (and 0-3 when he doesn't).
This is the second loss in a row for Hoover and nudges their season record down to 6-4. As for Crawford, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
