Spanish Fork has gone a perfect 4-0 against Timpview recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Spanish Fork will be playing in front of their home fans against Timpview at 3:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Spanish Fork blew Maple Mountain out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Thursday Maple Mountain got their revenge. Spanish Fork fell just short of Maple Mountain by a score of 2-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Dons were not able to get on the board.

Spanish Fork saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Leila Donegan, who went 1-for-3 with one double. That double was Donegan's first of the season.

Meanwhile, Timpview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Orem, falling 19-4. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Spanish Fork dropped their record down to 2-6 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Timpview, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Timpview's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Tuesday. Spanish Fork has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.5 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Timpview, though, as they've been averaging only 2.4 strikeouts. Will Spanish Fork keep running through batters, or will Timpview buck the trend?

Spanish Fork took their victory against Timpview in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 18-0. Will Spanish Fork repeat their success, or does Timpview has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
