Blue Ridge Christian was outmatched by the Eagles on the road and fell 47-14. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Blue Ridge Christian in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost five in a row.
Despite the loss, Blue Ridge Christian saw an underclassman step up: Risa Johnson scored four points along with ten rebounds and four steals.
Blue Ridge Christian's defeat was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Heritage Christian, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-3.
Blue Ridge Christian will be playing at home against the Lions at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Heritage Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against the Knights at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
