The Tampa Bay Tech Titans will be playing at home against the Fletcher Senators at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
Tampa Bay Tech pushed their score all the way to 34 two weeks ago, but even that wasn't enough to win. The matchup between Tampa Bay Tech and Armwood wasn't particularly close, with Tampa Bay Tech falling 51-34. Tampa Bay Tech has been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.
Despite their defeat, Tampa Bay Tech saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Xzavier Jackson, who threw for 236 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.2 yards per attempt, was perhaps the best of all. The team also got some help courtesy of Dallas Wilson, who picked up 119 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Fletcher can now show off three landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They didn't even let Atlantic Coast onto the board and left with a 22-0 victory.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fletcher to victory, but perhaps none more so than Diondre Smith, who gained 85 total yards and a touchdown.
Tampa Bay Tech's loss dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Fletcher, they pushed their record up to 7-3 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home.
Everything came up roses for Tampa Bay Tech against Fletcher in their previous meeting back in November of 2022 as the squad secured a 34-3 victory. Will Tampa Bay Tech repeat their success, or does Fletcher have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
