The Caston Comets put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by Pioneer on the road to the tune of 57-27. The result was nothing new for Caston, who have now won seven matches by 20 points or more so far this season.
Isabel Scales was her usual excellent self, dropping a triple-double on 19 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 steals. That makes it six consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Caston's points. Annie Harsh was another key contributor, scoring 9 points.
Caston's win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Pioneer, they have fallen quite a ways from their 21-4 record last season and are now at 1-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Caston will take on North Judson-San Pierre at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully North Judson-San Pierre focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 on Thursday. As for Pioneer, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Caston at 7:30 p.m. on December 12th.
