Hamilton has struggled against Colusa recently, as their matchup on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Hamilton's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kayden Strong, who scored 8 points along with 5 assists. Another player making a difference was Caden Stickney, who scored 11 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals.
Hamilton's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Colusa, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hamilton will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Maxwell at 7:30 p.m. on January 9, 2024. As for Colusa, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sutter at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sutter has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
