Cole Cooke gave up the fewest walks he has since back in April of 2024 on Thursday. Nobody could stop him as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Riverdale is 3-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 3-6 otherwise.

Cooke and Riverdale will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Ida Baker at 7:00 p.m. on March 25th.
