Mt. Pleasant can attribute much of their success to Jon Micheal Wright, who threw for 289 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 passes. Jakyri Mcclure helped Wright out on the ground, picking up 143 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Spring Hill came up short against Mt. Pleasant when the teams last played back in August of 2023, falling 18-13. Thankfully for Spring Hill, Nick Brown (who rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 56 yards and a touchdown) won't be suiting up this time.
