They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Brunswick Christian Academy 81-39 on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Bible Baptist Christian has posted since November 27, 2023.
Leading Bible Baptist Christian to victory were Jaquayvion Gilmore and Samuel Rahming. Gilmore dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds, while Rahming scored 20 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Rahming is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Justin Coleman, who scored eight points along with six assists and four steals.
Bible Baptist Christian's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-1. As for Brunswick Christian Academy, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-3.
Bible Baptist Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Faith Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on January 18th. Faith Christian Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 688th in Florida, while Bible Baptist Christian is ranked 237th in Georgia). As for Brunswick Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Faith Baptist Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Faith Baptist Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 last Monday.
