The South Harrison Hawks's 23-3 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They were outmatched by Doddridge County at home and fell 69-42. South Harrison has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Leading Doddridge County to victory were Brandon Hileman and Jaden Solomon. Hileman scored 16 points along with three steals, while Solomon scored 13 points along with eight rebounds. The matchup was Hileman's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Thomas, who scored six points along with eight rebounds.
South Harrison's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Doddridge County, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.
South Harrison will be playing in front of their home fans against Frankfort at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Doddridge County, they will head out on the road to face off against Notre Dame at 7:30 p.m. on January 16th.
