The Ramah Mustangs will head out on the road to face off against the Chesterton Academy Saints at noon The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New Mexico (Ramah is ranked 17th, while Chesterton Academy is ranked 25th).
Ramah never got on the board in their last matchup, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against New Mexico School for the Deaf last Thursday. Ramah blew past New Mexico School for the Deaf 91-45 on the road.
Skylor Roberts was on fire: he rushed for 225 yards and seven touchdowns on only ten carries. Roberts was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 50 yards. Hunter Tietjen also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Chesterton Academy, who are still winless after their seventh match. They were outmatched by Grady on the road and fell 54-0.
Ramah's win lifted them to 3-3 while Chesterton Academy's loss dropped them down to 1-6.
Everything came up roses for Ramah against Chesterton Academy in their previous matchup back in October of 2022 as the squad secured a 74-26 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ramah since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
