Smith Mcgarvey Turns in Season-Best Performance
North Hall was led to victory by Smith Mcgarvey, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Mcgarvey rushed for 114 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries, and also threw for 172 yards and two touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes.
The victory (which was North Hall's sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-2. They and Johnson are set to duel on Friday.

Tommy Young was a major factor in Greater Atlanta Christian's victory over White County on Friday. Young turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 73 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, while also throwing for 108 yards and a touchdown.
Greater Atlanta Christian pushed their record up to 4-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Young and Greater Atlanta Christian will square off against Pickens at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
