Chartiers-Houston is 8-2 against Fort Cherry since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Buccaneers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rangers at 4:00 p.m. Chartiers-Houston will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
Chartiers-Houston came out on top against Yough on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run third inning. The Buccaneers took their game against the Cougars 8-5.

The team relied heavily on Aaron Walsh, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. Chartiers-Houston is undefeated when Walsh posts three or more hits, but 2-4 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Cale Bitz, who went 1-for-3 with two runs.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Chartiers-Houston kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Fort Cherry came tearing into Thursday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 7-3 win over the Tigers.
Colton Temple was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Landon Trnavsky was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. Ben Demascal was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Fort Cherry's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Chartiers-Houston, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Chartiers-Houston has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Fort Cherry struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.5 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Chartiers-Houston couldn't quite finish off Fort Cherry in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 and fell 7-5. Will the Buccaneers have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
