McKinley had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They enjoyed a cozy 43-25 victory over the Harding Raiders. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Although Harding took the loss, they still got scores from Amiere Cobb and Julius Ferrell.

Looking ahead, McKinley will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against St. Augustine Prep at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Harding, they are headed away from home for the first time to square off against Buchtel at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
