The South Kitsap Wolves lost against the Bethel Bison back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. South Kitsap took a hard 49-35 fall against the Bison. South Kitsap has struggled against the Bison recently, as their game on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
South Kitsap's loss came despite strong showings from Grace Degarimore and Kamdyn Hagerty. Degarimore scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and three steals, while Hagerty dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Degarimore has scored all season.
Bethel's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Aanjili Sanehi led the charge by scoring 14 points. Another player making a difference was Tamari Fruser, who scored 13 points.
South Kitsap's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Bethel, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season.
South Kitsap will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Rams at 7:00 p.m. Rogers is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. Bethel does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
