The Maclay Marauders's three-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They managed a 43-37 victory over George Jenkins. The win was just what Maclay needed coming off of a 64-28 defeat in their prior matchup.
Maclay can attribute much of their success to Nash Beshears, who scored 14 points. Ezekiel Podgorski was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Maclay's victory bumped their record up to 4-10. As for George Jenkins, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Maclay is on the road again on Thursday and play against Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on January 4th. As for George Jenkins, they will square off against Lakeland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
