The McCluer North Stars and the Lincoln Railsplitters will round out the year against one another at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday at. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Two weeks ago, McCluer North was able to grind out a solid win over Belleville West, taking the game 62-52. The win made it back-to-back wins for McCluer North.
Meanwhile, Lincoln came tearing into Friday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 41-34 win over Washington.
McCluer North's victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-1. As for Lincoln, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3.
McCluer North might still be hurting after the 60-40 defeat they got from Lincoln when the teams last played back in December of 2014.
