Glendale is 1-9 against the Yellowjackets since January of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Glendale Falcons will head out on the road to take on the Lebanon Yellowjackets at 7:30 p.m. Glendale will be strutting in after a victory while the Yellowjackets will be coming in after a defeat.
Back in January, Glendale was able to grind out a solid win over the Wildcats, taking the game 35-26. Given Glendale's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 59th, while the Wildcats are ranked 314th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Lebanon took a serious blow against the Bulldogs on Thursday, falling 62-32. Lebanon has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Glendale's win bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Lebanon, they dropped their record down to 6-13 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Glendale and the Yellowjackets were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, but the Falcons came up empty-handed after a 50-49 loss. Can Glendale avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
