Morristown-Hamblen East's loss came despite strong showings from Harmony Sullivan and Hannah Hall. Sullivan scored 22 points along with six assists and five rebounds, while Hall dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds.
Tennessee found their leader in underclassman Addie Wilhoit, who scored 24 points along with five assists. Wilhoit is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Keeyanah Foote, who scored 15 points along with three steals.
Morristown-Hamblen East has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 16-6 record this season. As for Tennessee, they pushed their record up to 13-7 with that win, which was their 11th straight at home.
Morristown-Hamblen East will take on Morristown-Hamblen West at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Tennessee, they will head out on the road to square off against Unicoi County at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Unicoi County will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings (they are ranked 210th, while Tennessee is ranked 73rd).
