Soccer Recap: Fort Mill Has No Trouble Against Northwestern

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fort Mill). They never let the Northwestern Trojans get on the board and left with a 7-0 win on Friday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded Fort Mill with their most commanding win of the season.

Their offense was hitting Northwestern from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Lauren Hardy led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

The victory got Fort Mill back to even at 4-4. As for Northwestern, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Coming up, Fort Mill will be playing at home against Indian Land at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Northwestern, they will head out on the road to square off against Rock Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Northwestern is facing Rock Hill at the right time seeing as Rock Hill is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
