McAllen Memorial won the last time they faced Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest and things went their way on Monday too. The McAllen Memorial Mustangs walked away with a 10-5 victory over the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest Javelinas. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Sebastian Soto and Jose Rivera did most of the damage at the plate: Soto went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one triple, while Rivera scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-4. That triple was Soto's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Eloy Lozano, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

They weren't the only ones working in the hit department: McAllen Memorial kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 4.2 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matches they've averaged 9.2.

McAllen Memorial's record now sits at 8-10. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McAllen Memorial will face off against Pioneer at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest, they will take on Sharyland at 7:00 p.m. on March 25th.
