Sprayberry extended their home winning streak to eight games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Jaden Duckett. The Yellow Jackets enjoyed a cozy 42-24 victory over the Etowah Eagles on Friday thanks in part to Duckett, who rushed for 152 yards and one score on only five carries, and also threw for 214 yards and three TDs on only 11 passes. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run.
Sprayberry's defense made their presence known, laying out Zeke Douglass. four times. Gabe Clarke was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two sacks himself. Sprayberry got some further help from Saiky Minnifield: he picked up a sack, made 11 total tackles, and defended one pass.
