Washington County has gone 8-2 against Danville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Commanders will be playing at home against the Admirals at 6:00 p.m. Washington County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9 runs per game this season.

Ariana Gonzalez made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. Marlee Tennill was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
Meanwhile, Danville had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They walked away with an 11-7 win over the Patriots.
Jaycee Morse made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and four unearned) runs off three hits. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.4 strikeouts per game. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs and two doubles.
In other batting news, Riley Foster was incredible, going 2-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Isabella Leathers, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
Danville kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in three consecutive matchups.
Washington County's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Danville, their victory bumped their record up to 14-3.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Monday. Washington County hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.7 home runs per game. However, it's not like Danville struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.4 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
