Samson is a perfect 3-0 against Goshen since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Tigers will face off against the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. Samson knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Goshen likes a good challenge.
While Samson's win against New Brockton wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers had just enough and edged out the Gamecocks 20-19.

Samson let Molly Glisson and Ally Zorn run wild. Glisson went 3-for-5 with six RBI, two runs, and one triple, while Zorn went 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Zorn is also on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games she's played. Holly Warren was another key player, getting on base in five of her six plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double.
Samson was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. They are 8-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Goshen's offense. They lost 18-0 to Zion Chapel on Tuesday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Samson is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Goshen, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-12.
Goshen's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Samson hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .428. It's a different story for Goshen, though, as they've only averaged .250. Will they be able to contain Samson's hitters?
Everything went Samson's way against Goshen in their previous matchup back in March, as Samson made off with a 13-2 win. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
