After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hillsborough, Freedom was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They snuck past the Brandon Eagles with a 38-34 victory. The Patriots' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Freedom's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nyasia Davis, who posted 14 points and five rebounds. Cayley Vega was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and 13 boards.

Freedom's win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-6. As for Brandon, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Freedom will take on King at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Freedom is facing King at the right time seeing as King is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Brandon, they will square off against Sumner at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Sumner will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Brandon surely won't give up without a fight.
