The Spur Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They fell 52-39 to Ralls. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Spur in their matchups with Ralls: they've now lost four in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ralls to victory, but perhaps none more so than Aydan Villalba, who scored 14 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Villalba has scored at least 25% of Ralls' points. Another player making a difference was Andrew Morales, who scored 13 points.
Spur's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Ralls, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.
Spur will take on Moran at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Ralls is on the road again on Thursday and play against Plains at 11:00 a.m. on December 7th. One thing working in Plains' favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
