Seton Catholic Central has been on the road for five straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Lake Placid Bombers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Seton Catholic Central focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Monday.
Last Monday, Seton Catholic Central didn't have too much trouble with Keene Central on the road as they won 38-19. 38 seems to be a good number for Seton Catholic Central as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
It was another big night for Grace Trombley, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. She also posted two blocks for the first time this season. Gabriella Conti was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with eight steals.
Meanwhile, Lake Placid unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They were beaten by Bolton Central 60-31. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Lake Placid has suffered since December 13, 2023.
Seton Catholic Central's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-6. As for Lake Placid, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-10.
Everything went Seton Catholic Central's way against Lake Placid in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 as Seton Catholic Central made off with a 39-18 win.
