After having lost a blowout to Kennedy in their previous matchup, Linn-Mar were happy to find some success on Friday. Linn-Mar enjoyed a cozy 33-14 victory over Jefferson. Jefferson can consider this payback for the 20-27 defeat they dealt Linn-Mar the last time the teams encountered one another.
The win bumped Linn-Mar's record up to 1-2. Jefferson are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-3.
Linn-Mar will stay at home next week against Urbandale at 7:00 PM. Jefferson will look to defend their home turf against Washington at 7:00 PM.
