Brattleboro is 7-0 against Woodstock since January of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Brattleboro Bears will head out on the road to face off against the Woodstock Wasps at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Brattleboro focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 28 on Monday.
Last Monday, Brattleboro beat Mount Greylock Regional 51-38. The victory was just what Brattleboro needed coming off of a 84-28 loss in their prior matchup.
Brattleboro can attribute much of their success to Keagan Systo, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. Johnathon Haskins was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Woodstock's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell to Windsor 45-41. Woodstock has not had much luck with Windsor recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
The victory got Brattleboro back to even at 1-1. As for Woodstock, their defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-2.
Brattleboro strolled past Woodstock when the teams last played back in February by a score of 54-38. Does Brattleboro have another victory up their sleeve, or will Woodstock turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
