Center Hill is 4-0 against South Panola since December of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Center Hill Mustangs will play host again and welcome the South Panola Tigers, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Center Hill knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three games -- so hopefully South Panola likes a good challenge.
Last Monday, Center Hill didn't have too much trouble with Saltillo at home as they won 68-51.
Meanwhile, South Panola's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 76-44 loss at the hands of Olive Branch. South Panola has not had much luck with Olive Branch recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Despite their defeat, South Panola saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Tre'darious Hines, who scored ten points, was perhaps the best of all. Jamison Smith was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Center Hill's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-5. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 28.33 points. As for South Panola, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Center Hill against South Panola in their previous meeting back in October of 2022 as the squad secured a 74-39 victory. Will Center Hill repeat their success, or does South Panola have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
